Anti-Phosphatidyl Serine
Phosphatidyl serine antibodies are associated with antiphospholipid syndrome.
Anti-cardiolipin and antibodies against phosphatidyl serine do not always appear together. When APS is suspected and anti-cardiolipin is absent, a further test for autoantibodies against phosphatidyl serine is particularly recommended.
In addition to the antigen, the wells of the ORGENTEC Anti-Phosphatidyl-Serine tests are coated with human beta-2-glycoprotein I as cofactor.
