Gastroenterology Diagnostics

Antinuclear antibodies (ANA) serve as markers for the diagnosis of rheumatic inflammatory connective tissue diseases like lupus erythematosus (SLE), Sjögren’s syndrome, Sharp syndrome (mixed connective tissue disease), polymyositis/dermatomyositis, and progressive systemic scleroderma (PSS) with CREST syndrome. Each individual well in the ANA Detect test is coated with 26 human, recombinant, highly purified antigens. This combination guarantees high diagnostic sensitivity with excellent specificity and is the first choice in cases of suspected systemic autoimmune disease.
