ENAcombi
ENAcombi is an ELISA test system for the quantitative determination of IgG antibodies against SS-A 60, SS-A 52, SS-B, Sm, RNP/Sm, Scl-70, and Jo-1 in human serum or plasma. It is used in the diagnosis of inflammatory rheumatic connective tissue diseases.
Autoantibodies against ENA can be detected in cases of systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren’s syndrome, Sharp syndrome, polymyositis/dermatomyositis, and progressive systemic scleroderma. Some of these antibodies are disease markers and their isolated detection with ENAcombi makes it possible to serologically differentiate between the individual connective tissue diseases.
The wells of the twelve strips are individually coated with the relevant antigens (human recombinant or native affinity-purified). ENAcombi thus allows for the determination of twelve differentiated patient profiles in one test.
